With the perfect amount of sweetness, the warmth of the spices, this cup of homemade chai latte is just what you need on cold days. So pull up a chair and let’s sip away!

2 cups milk of choice, 1 black teabag, 1 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon sugar, 1/8 teaspoon cardamom, 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
A dash allspice, a dash cloves
1 tablespoon honey (optional)

1. Heat milk and teabag in a pot.
2. When it comes to a simmer, add the rest of the ingredients (except honey), and let the tea brew for a few minutes.
3. Stir in 1 tablespoon of honey (if using) and pour it into your favorite mug.
